Fracking Water Treatment System Containerized System
Fracking and produced water generated during production of oil and gas are highly contaminated with heavy metals, toxic minerals and hydrocarbons.
MENA-Water process involve multiple treatment processes to eliminate complex compounds in raw effluent.
MENA-Water system is ideal to treat the effluent for reuse in the process or to the permissible discharge to marine water.
The plant based on Electrocoagulation, chemical oxidation and UV oxidation to break the compounds in form that can be easily removed in physical processes within the plant.

SLOP OIL TREATMENT: critical issues
Variability and Inconstancy
Slop oils are by definition characterized by an unpredictable composition. The oil, water and solids content can vary a lot according to its origin (water and oil concentration, solids content)
Flexibility
The consequence is that the separation unit has to be suitable to manage this fundamental aspect.
Connections and equipments has to be engineered to guarantee the maximum operation flexibility
Emulsions
Emulsions are a mixture of two or more liquids that are normally immiscible (non-mixable or un-blendable) and they can often be considered a single phase. Water and oil in several conditions easily tend to generate strong emulsions that cannot be separated only applying centrifugal force.
Thermal & Chemical Pretreatment
According to the different types and levels of emulsion it is necessary to heat up the mixture (close to its boiling point) and/or to add adequate chemicals (dis-emulsifiers) to break the links between the two liquid phases.
